Pilgrims of Hope Candlelight Adoration Event at Your Parish.

Picture sitting in a dark church lit only by the beautiful ambient light of candles that are sitting on and around the altar. There is also the option to have candles available for people to light as a prayer intention to place at the foot of the alter.

During Adoration, Faith Room will provide times beautiful reflective songs that speak to the heart and draw people towards God's presence. There will also be times of reverent silence so people can rest in quiet contemplation.

If you are able to provide candles, that would be helpful to us. With that said, we would be happy to bring candles if needed. We can bring a couple of packages of tea light candles and glass containers for them to sit in.

Usually, we like to arrive 3 - 5 hours prior to Adoration so we can have a touch base meeting with the parish priest, have a quick tour of the space, set up our sound gear, do a sound check, have a music practice to warm up, lay out the candles and set up a welcome table in the church foyer.

We are happy to work around your parish Mass schedule. We will just plan to set up what we can before Mass, prioritizing the sound system set-up, a sound check and the welcome table. Then, together as a team, we can set up the candles and church lighting after Mass. If need be, we can run our music practice in another location on the church property during Mass.

If your parish is local and in driving distance from Abbotsford, BC, we will bring and use our own sound gear, which is simple to set up and familiar to us to use which will help the evening of prayerful Adoration go as smoothly as possible. Our sound system should be more than capable of filling most church naves / spaces. If your church space is too big for our sound system, we can make a plan with you when the time comes.

If you are looking to fly us in, then you will need to provide the music and sound equipment. Either we can look at using your church sound system, or you can rent a cheap set-up from Long & McQuade (Approximately $25 - $40 for 24 hours).

The parish is primarily responsible for advertising the Adoration Event. However, Faith Room is available to help with the creation of Advertising materials if needed. This can include posters, bulletin inserts and pulpit announcements.

Typically, around 3 - 4 weeks is a good minimum amount of time to advertise and plan your Adoration Night. But, if our schedule is open and so is yours, we can easily plan something in a shorter amount of time.

We are delighted to facilitate your Adoration event free of charge. We just ask for your permission to have an Faith Room info / donation table in the church foyer.

If we are traveling long distance to get to your parish (anywhere outside of the Vancouver Archdiocese), we will need you to cover the travel costs - that goes for gas and milage if we drive, or airplane tickets if we fly.

If you are thinking of bringing us in from long distance, why not maximize our time at your parish. For instance, we can facilitate your Adoration Event within the context of a Parish Mission, which Faith Room can provide. There are other options available that we can discuss over the phone.
